The Centre for Brain & Learning, a multidisciplinary research, knowledge and expertise centre, is connected to the Fac of Psychology (FdP), the Brain & Behaviour Research Institute and the Fac of Health, Medicine & Life Sciences (FHML). It has a strong background in fundamental and applied research on learning in relation to the brain and neurocognitive functioning.
Job description
The assistant professor aids and furthers the rapid development of the
centre and expands the new research trajectory in the educational
setting, coordinates a number of PhD projects and acts as a project
leader within the research program ‘Adolescent Learning & the
Brain' at Maastricht University.
Requirements
Experience with coordinating courses and teaching/mentoring students in
cognitive and clinical neuropsychology, educational neuropsychology at
Bachelor and Master’s level and International Research Master
level.
MA degree in Psychology and PhD degree in Educational (Neuro)Psychology
(preference) and/or Neuropsychology or Biopsychology.
Salary
It is a tenure-track assistant professor position (universitair
docent/e; UD; Salary range € 3.060 – € 4.762, salary scale 12).
