This three-day workshop will bring together 30 people from around the world – an equal mix of neuroscientists, legal academics & practitioners, as well as philosophers – to discuss how neuroscience can help us to address questions about responsibility, especially within the law, and to develop and discuss ideas about future research in this area.

To ensure that the workshop is interactive no papers will be presented, and the focus will instead be on discussion that is guided by a loose agenda of topics to be circulated in advance of the workshop.

Attendance is by invitation only, but we are currently seeking the participation of four more neuroscientists (especially Dutch ones) and six more judges and/or legal academics (some Dutch and some from abroad), so if you are interested in attending this three day workshop then please send an email to the organizer.
