Lecture "Interpersonal Coordination in Musical Ensembles"
The entrainment of cognitive/motor processes between individuals in musical ensembles is a widespread human ability with deep biological roots. Nevertheless, differences in the quality of ensemble coordination that can be observed even among groups of highly trained musicians suggest that there may be considerable variation in this ability.

Mini-conference Big Questions: The Future of Psychology
We want to invite you all to a special mini-conference on the future of psychological science on Friday, the 9th of April. This series of short (20 minute) talks will focus on the central questions of psychological research. The purpose of the mini-conference is to give a an overview of recent and future developments in the field of scientific psychology, in the broadest sense. A selection of researchers from the faculty of psychology at the UvA will discuss current hot topics in their field, recent developments, open questions and offer their speculations on the direction of scientific psychology.
