Institute for Behavioral Research (IBR)
The Institute’s mission is to conduct fundamental and applied multidisciplinary research to develop theories and models of human behavior. These theories and models are used to design and evaluate tools, procedures, and systems that improve communication, cognition, learning, knowledge transfer, and labor environments, as they exist, for example, in educational, corporate, and health-sector settings.
Interuniversity Centre for Educational Research (ICO)
The general mission of ICO is to advance scientific theories for understanding processes and systems of learning and instruction. These theories concern: learning processes and characteristics of the learning environment, including the teacher, that influence the efficiency and effectiveness of the learning process; the organization of the curriculum and the school in relation to the learning and instruction process; the role of educational policies in influencing the functioning of schools and theories of examination and assessment.
